We all knew it since we heard their first due "The lady is a trap", They belong together !
The Pop superstar Lady gaga and the Icon Tony Bennett .
So a few weeks ago their full collaborative album was released and topped charts even before getting released!
The album is called "Cheek to Cheek" which is pretty much just like they always act when they're together <3
and idea of listening to Lady Gaga in a jazz-only album singing with someone who is older than her by almost 60 years is bloody awesome itself!

Anything goes
This song drops you instantaneously in the world of jazz and happiness,
A really nice choice for the leading song, and I love how the lyrics go with them trading lines really smoothly, they both sound like really enjoying it!
also even in some lines they complain about the society and "the world's gone mad today, and good's bad today" they don't even sound sad about it, they're still keeping the positive attitude about it and telling each other "go!" enjoy life .
The original song dates back to 1934 by Cole Porter and Tony covered it before around the 60s.

Cheek to Cheek
The only thing I don't' like about this track is that it sounds like each recorded his part in a separate song, Gaga's solo parts sound a lot less noisy than Tony's, maybe they meant that, I just don't like this contrast.
But still, their harmony here is massive, even if Gaga sounds overpowering !
"but I don't enjoy it half as much as dancing cheek to cheek"
And the finale ! *.*
I can't give you anything
Gaga unleashes her powerful voice, she sounds MAJESTIC !
The electric organ sounds cool and these brass horns (by Gaga's Trumpeter 'Brian Newman') just kill it <3 !
"Gee I liked you ..... Tony,... doesn't sell, Gaga" I love how they shout each other's names like that!
It makes the song feel like home <3
"I can only give you love, lady, that's the thing I got plenty of, lady" this is really adorable!
and the finale comes with Gaga over powering and singing over Tony :)
I won't dance

Probably my favorite track, and it really makes you think the idea of making this album was a blessing!
They sound really smooth, harmonic, heart warming and really in love!
"you know what? you're lovely...... and so what? I'm lovely!"
"We know that music leads the way to romance, so if I won't hold you in my arms, I won't dance"
The lyrics are just the cutest! They maybe not dancing like they say - without having each other- but sure their voices dance like hell <3 !

Goody goody
This song really sounds cute, adorable and really fun to listen to! Will definitely make you smile a lot through it. even it's only two-minutes-long.
Tony here songs and Gaga only talks sexy -also playful- in the background
"I'm not a goody, I'm a baddy"... Yes you are Gaga :)
They all laughed
yes, it was once covered by Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald.
sounds kind of comical, talking about people being always wrong, since all the tech inventions - at Edison, Columbus,...etc.- and even at laughing at them expecting their "love" to fail, -"they laughed at me wanting you"- but it didn't !
Another really nice song, featuring some "ho ho hooo, he he heee, and some laughs too" kind of a whole package too ;)
but not even two-minutes-long !
It don't mean a thing (if it ain't got a swing)
"Do-wah Do-wah Do-was Tony Gaga!"
This one is really energetic and kind of has a faster tempo.
It sound like it has lots of improvisations of course,
This song is pure joy and is the best choice for the closing song.
Bonus track;
Bang Bang !
Everyone is talking about that song, but I really can't find words that describes it, click on the button above and give it a shot and let yourself be sucked up into it!
That album - that may sounded at first unasked for- that really just the idea of it confused many people, but I just fell in love with it, it's the best I could've ever asked them to sing!
I'm in love with that 'odd couple' <3 !
